Snappers split Double header with Royals behind strong pitching

Roman Wild kept the Coral Springs Royals (3-5) off the board during his six innings of work and the West Boca Snappers (7-5) beat the Coral Springs Royals, 2-0.

Wild allowed one hit, one walk and struck out none.  He was very effective by working pitches around the zone keeping hitters off balance.  The Snappers were able to play strong defense behind him and get just enough offense to get the W.

TJ Densmore pitched lights out for the Coral Springs Royals. The West Boca Snappers managed just three hits off of the the Coral Springs Royals' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two during his six innings of work.

Densmore was charged with his third loss of the year.
